Here’s a satirical parody from Toby Turner about Zynga’s Farmville game on Facebook and how much time players devote to this game. I guess it rubbed him the wrong way, someone should get this man some facebook poker chips.

PostHeaderIcon Everyone thinks they’re a pro in facebook poker.

Everyones an expert.

Anyone who watches an episode of the world series of poker thinks they’re a seasoned pro. But if you find yourself playing like a donkey, here’s some tips to improve your game and help you win more facebook pokerchips:

Minimize losses while maximizing gains.

In orther words, make strong bets on hands that have the highest odds of winning, while letting go of and folding the weaker hands that people tend to chase unsuccessfully. Whats this mean for you? Don’t call huge raises when you only have a pair, hoping to land the three of a kind. You’re just wasting your facebook poker chips. On the other hand, if you flow the flush or trips, bet strongly with guns blazing. This is how facebook chips are won.

Learn patience and self discipline.

This ties in with the previous point about playing good hands strongly. But in order to get those strong hands you must show disclipline and patience and fold a lot of weaker hands that only serve to whittle away at your facebookpokerchips stack when you chase them. While this sounds like an easy concept, it is in fact, one of the hardest principles to learn in facebook texas holdem poker. Players chase garbage hands all the time simply because they want to be involved in the hand “just incase” their cards fall. The few times that they kick themselves for folding because their flush showed up only strengthens the “I shoulda played it out” mentality, because they forget about the 1000 times they actually did play it out and lost.

Manage your facebook pokerchips.

Doyle Brunson once said “texas holdem is like a job, the more hours you work, the more money you’ll make” Facebook chip management means, to put it simply, knowing when to get out of the game and when to stay in. If the table is hot and the other players are loose and wild, stay. If you notice theres some really skilled players sitting with you, get up and look for another table.

Observe other players

If you don’t waste too much time getting involved in weak hands that never materilize, you can spend more time observing the other players at the table. This is infinitely more valuable than chasing hands and will make you a better poker player in the long run. Pay close attention to what they’re doing right and the mistakes they make. Winning facebook poker chips is all about correcting your own mistakes.

Don’t be too predictable

Try to vary your play. Even if you aren’t paying attention to the other players at the table, you can be sure that the more skilled amongst them are watching you carefully. So while you’re watching the latest episode of House on hulu.com, they’re watching how you react to big raises, all in bets, reraises, etc and making mental notes. If you play too predictable, they will be able to predict within reason the type of hand you have. This is why it’s important sometimes to just “go nuts” without sacrificing too many facebook poker chips. If you have an opportunity to do something illogical and unreasonable without risking too many facebook chips, and if it offers a reasonable chance that you might win a big pot if it turns out the way you hope, go for it. It’l keep your opponents from labeling you as any specific type of player and the next time you make a big raise or go all in, they won’t know if its just another crazy move or if you really have the best hand.

PostHeaderIcon Evil facebook poker bots..

The most frequent comments and emails I receive are probably about facebook poker cheats and whether I know where to find them. The second most common question I get is about facebook poker bots or zynga poker bots and whether they actually exist. As I’m sure you well know by now, a poker bot is an computer program that completely automates the process of playing poker for you, in theory winning you facebook poker chips while you snooze or clean the house or look at online porn (yea we all know about that). They have been in use in real money poker games on the internet for years now, with some people claiming to make be making thousands of dollars a day or week by using them.

Whether or not these claims are true is irrelevant, as there is simply no way to prove or disprove such claims because anyone who uses these programs would never announce it to the world due to the fact that they are illegal on most poker sites and are grounds to have your account banned if caught using them. These poker bots are extremely good at emulating human play though, so it’s next to impossible for sites like poker stars or full tilt to actually catch the bot users. Since there’s a lot of money in for real money bots there’s a big incentive for producing working programs for these games. But what about facebook poker? Would anyone really invest that much time in to such a complex program that can only win facebook poker chips?

Apparently there is or was a working facebook poker bot at one time that players could download and read about at http://www.botage.com. While I don’t know whether it works the way it claims to, I guess it answers the questions of whether or not someone would really spend the time to make a working facebook poker bot. It probably doesn’t work anymore and I don’t advocate using or downloading bots for poker games anyway, so anything on that site is meant strictly for entertainment or educational purposes.

Facebook Poker Chips in Zynga Poker Blitz

Facebook Poker Chips in Zynga’s Poker Blitz

Game maker Zynga quietly rolled out a new game last month called Poker Blitz, another gaming application that let’s players gamble online with facebook poker chips. Their previous game, Zynga Poker commands the attention of over 20 million online gamers already and Poker Blitz is aimed mostly at that existing fan base of players.

Poker Blitz has very friendly and colorful graphics and an interface reminiscent of their other games like Yoville and Farmville. Once players sign up they’re able to build a character and customize it to their liking before hitting the tables. Gameplay is just like other facebook texas holdem poker games and players are dealt 2 cards with 5 more on the table. And just like in regular poker they’re given the options to bet with facebook poker chips, except in Poker Blitz they’re playing against the dealer instead of other players. Also, the fourth and fifth round of betting have been eliminated, probably for sake of simplifying the game.

Zynga Poker Blitz Facebook Poker Chips

There is a win probability display that shows the chances of a player’s hand winning, geared toward helping new players understand hand strength so they learn not to squander their facebook poker chips on hands with low probabilities of winning. In addition to gambling with facebook poker chips, players will soon have the option to customize a virtual home that now is only marked as “coming soon” in the game.

Poker Blitz has more of an arcade style play than a tradition texas holdem game, where players can earn power ups, bonuses, and unlock special prizes that can award more facebook poker chips, luck, or wild card abilities like being able to switch cards with the dealer. Team play will also be available where players can compete in groups for prizes and awards in the game. Poker Blitz is currently in beta with a lot of features yet to be unlocked, so the full gaming experience can’t be enjoyed and these features will most likely be released incrementally by Zynga as they they did with Farmville. The game should appeal mostly to younger folks but I have a feeling that serious players probably prefer Zynga’s traditional no frills texas holdem poker title.

Facebook chips are social currency

Facebook poker chips have become a valuable social gaming currency. To know how it has become a sensational item it is essential to know first about the website that houses it. Facebook is an interactive social networking website. Like many social networking sites, Facebook offers features such as personal profiles, photos, blogs, groups, music videos, and online friends. These features target teenagers and adults worldwide. As its website becomes even more popular through the years, it has recently included an applications feature. These applications involve games, trivia, quizzes, and many more. Gaming applications are the most downloaded of the lot. Among thousands of games in Facebook, Texas Holdem poker is one of the most downloaded applications.

Facebook poker chips have quickly escalated in demand over a short span of time. Many online poker players buy Facebook poker chips to boost their rankings. Others just simply buy these chips as an exciting alternative to gambling with real money. Texas Holdem is one of the most popular applications on Facebook and is a great way to spend precious time and meet other poker players worldwide. Since Facebook is a host to many cultures, playing games like poker on it can help you learn new things about other societies. Beside the fact that you are shoveling chips, you can earn friends other than virtual cash.

How can you play online Texas Holdem and grab as many Facebook pokerchips as you can? The fundamental move to acquiring millions of chips is to acquire elementary knowledge on basic poker lingo and the way you can apply it to win. The most basic way to grab hold of millions of chips is to bluff. Like real live poker bluffing also works online even without the luxury of knowing your opponents poker faces. Bluffing describes the way on making a gamble or a raise when you do not have an agreeable hand to obtain the pot money. This simply means that bluffing is both an art and a skill needed to have high amounts of Facebook pokerchips. With this strategy, you can drive other players to surrender the pot therefore winning the money at stake by making them believe that you have better cards than they do. Bluffing is indeed the simplest way to win facebook poker chips online.

Another strategy to have a great number of chips is the check/raise method. This is a basic internet poker way of knowing your opponent’s style of betting. It is a method of slowing down your game in such a manner that you check the stakes and prolong your attack on a weak gamer behind you. Facebook & MySpace Texas Hold ‘em poker players usually use this methodology if they have great cards at hand.

An alternative strategy to get as much Facebook poker chips you possibly can is to place lower bets even if you have great cards at hand. This can help raise the pot money even higher because there is a big probability that a player with a lower hand will bluff. Whatever strategies you will use to get hold of these virtual treasures, just make sure to enjoy the game and not become very much involved with it.
